Once in a while, I go for a different kind of imatiothiki session. And this one started out as a walk around Dubai’s famous Creek, the old Dubai, the not so neat, not so clean cut part of town. What impressed me the most was the fact that the people working there, loading cargo on wooden boats that would sail the Gulf Sea and, despite appearances, would bring large electric devices and food and even cars, were more than eager to pose for me. Some of them hugging their friends, others wanting to take photos with me and I even got to give instructions in a couple of shots, just to get the light and portrait straight. This is such a small sample of the beauty of people working in this city, and I probably should have spent at least a month capturing their grace and smiles, but time is limited and all I, and -well- you, are left with is this small session of my walk around the Creek.
